Archiving Policy

Archiving Policy

The journal is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of its published scholarly content. To ensure that published articles remain accessible in the event of a website failure, technical problems, or discontinuation of the journal, the journal supports digital preservation through the following archiving services:

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): The journal supports long-term digital preservation through CLOCKSS, a community-governed digital preservation initiative that securely archives scholarly content and provides continued access to preserved materials in the event of a trigger event.
  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): The journal supports the LOCKSS program, which enables participating libraries to collect, preserve, and provide access to journal content through a distributed and decentralized preservation network.
  • Internet Archive: The journal's published content may be preserved through the Internet Archive, a digital library that collects and maintains archived versions of web pages and digital materials to support long-term access and historical preservation.
  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network, a digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). The PKP PN provides secure, distributed preservation of journal content to help ensure continued access to published articles, even if the journal's website becomes unavailable.

Through these digital preservation initiatives, the journal aims to safeguard its scholarly publications and maintain their long-term integrity, accessibility, and availability for researchers, authors, readers, and the wider academic community.

Preservation coverage and access to archived content are subject to the policies, technical requirements, and participation status of the respective archiving services.
